GeoEye... Digital Views For 2013... (Imagery)


[SatNews] GeoEye has released its 2013 online calendar, “Evolution of Insight: 1999-2012”, which is now available...

...for viewing and download at http://www.geoeye.com/2013calendar. The calendar, designed to be used as desktop wallpaper or to be printed, features GeoEye’s top image picks as well as a few honorable mentions (including the Moon!).

This year, GeoEye looks back at favorite satellite imagery that captured historic and iconic moments that changed the view of the world over a 13-year heritage of satellite imagery collection. One image was selected from each year since 1999—an image that captured an important moment in history, or was simply arresting enough to capture our imaginations.”  Locations that made the cut in 2013:
