Hughes Speaker Aims High Addresses UAS Intel


[SatNews] A conference specific to Unmanned Aircraft Systems will address many aspects of this line of defense.

Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes) today announced that Rick Lober, vice president and general manager of its Defense and Intelligence Systems Division, will  be speaking on “Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) satellite communications (SATCOM) for Unmanned Aircraft System” at the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Payloads Conference.  Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 3:00pm – 3:30pm PST, Holiday Inn On-The-Bay, 1355 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, California 

  In his presentation, Mr. Lober will address the use of commercial SATCOM solutions for large and small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for the transmission of real-time full motion video and other sensor data.  He will also discuss bandwidth efficient solutions available today that can help the military shrink its budget gap, while providing high performance and robust data transmission.
