The new family of Elite Antennas & Microwave Systems circular polarized Tx feeds offer excellent performance and flexibility.
Both OMT ports cover the full range from 17.2 to 31 GHz. This allows different applications to be covered from a single base design. In its Tx/Rx configuration, the Tx band is 27 to 31 GHz and the Rx band is 17.2 to 22.2 GHz with better than 85dB port to port isolation.
Other configurations include Rx/Rx for customers wanting to receive signals in both the Tx and Rx bands, and 4 ports [RHCP Tx and Rx, LHCP Tx and Rx]. The feed is available for use with prime focus, offset and dual optic antenna designs such as Cassegrain and Gregorian.
Elite’s High Performance Ka Rx only 17 to 22 GHz feeds are now available with manual and motorized polarization switching between circular and linear polarizations. The motorized version also has an additional motor for skew adjust for use when in linear polarization. There are both encoder and potentiometer versions to interface with most manufacturer’s controllers.
Elite will again be exhibiting at the Satellite Show to be held next week at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC at booth 2219. On display will be a number of the many different standard and custom feeds and antennas covering Ku, Ka, X, and S bands and the new product launches as described above.
