[SatNews] The SAILOR 900 VSAT, a sophisticated new Ku-band VSAT antenna, will be launched by Thrane & Thrane at the forthcoming SMM 2010 exhibition in Hamburg this September. Designed in-house by Thrane & Thrane's experienced engineers, SAILOR 900 VSAT represents a leap-forward in VSAT antenna performance and benefits from the high reliability, build quality and functionality that has made SAILOR the leading name in the world of maritime communications.
SAILOR 900 VSAT is designed and built to the exact same standards as Thrane & Thrane's SAILOR terminals for Inmarsat services, which have become the de facto industry standard in the professional maritime industry thanks to their reliability, suitability for the harsh maritime environment and the high-levels of global support offered by Thrane & Thrane. Like SAILOR FleetBroadband products, SAILOR 900 VSAT has been designed with ease of installation in mind. It is a powerful, quick and easy-to-deploy four-axis stabilized Ku-band VSAT antenna featuring a low-profile and high performance RF design. It can be easily integrated with all leading VSAT modem units and the sophisticated Antenna Control Unit (ACU) features multiple LAN and diagnostics ports, and Built-in Test Equipment (BITE).
The SAILOR 900 VSAT is going to be the fourth in the line-up of SAILOR Ku-band products, which include the SAILOR 700 VSAT, SAILOR 60 Satellite TV and SAILOR 90 Satellite TV. The company will be demonstrating the SAILOR 900 VSAT at SMM 2010 in hall B6 at stand 333, from September 7th through the 10th, 2010.
