According to Arabsat President and CEO Khalid Ben Ahmed Balkheyour, this session of the Board Meeting will be preceded by the specialized committee meetings. The current Board Meeting will discuss a number of topics, most prominently of which is the project of manufacturing and launching four new Satellites—two on Arabsat orbital positions and two on Hellas-Sat, which was acquired by Arabsat in 2013. These four satellites are considered a giant leap in terms of manufacturing technology and satellites capabilities and coverage.
