Integral Systems... Much Ado About Monitoring

Integral Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced its wholly-owned subsidiary, SAT Corporation has received a seven year contract to provide continued support to SKY Perfect JSAT's existing Monics CSM and satID Geolocation systems. Using SAT Corporation's Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, Monics is a state-of-the-art radio frequency monitoring system that provides automatic monitoring of SKY Perfect JSAT's carriers.

SKY Perfect JSAT selected the Monics system as it provides carrier monitoring and interference detection in a fraction of the time of a classic spectrum analyzer. In addition, Monics' unique algorithms automatically detect, characterize, and display interfering signals and allow results to be viewed at any time. With the satID system, interfering signals are Geolocated accurately within four kilometers and in a fraction of a time of competing solutions.

SKY Perfect JSAT is Japan's largest platform service provider in terms of channels and subscribers. With 12 satellites covering all of Japan and Asia, as well as Oceania and North America, it is also the largest satellite operator in Asia. This extensive network is used to support program transmission via the SKY PerfecTV! and SKY PerfecTV! e2 multichannel pay TV services, as well as provision of relay circuits for terrestrial television stations.
