Quality of service (QOS) is a teleport’s core product, and delivering it consistently and cost-effectively is fundamental.  Facilities and technology play a big role in QOS – but so does the human factor: the procedures and processes that guide the operations team day to day and generate continuous improvement from year to year.

WTA’s Teleport Certification program rates not only facilities and technology but the procedures for managing capacity, security, configuration and changes to that configuration, and for ensuring business continuity.  In this webinar learn the key human contributors to quality of service, and gain insights from experienced operations executives on how best to implement them.

Moderated by: Robert Bell, Executive Director, WTA

Speakers:

Keith Frost, Media and Data Networks Director, Arqiva Satellite & Media

Yap Sheng Young, Director of Satellite Operations, Singtel Satellite

Since 1985, the World Teleport Association (WTA) has been the only trade association that focuses on the business of satellite communications from the ground up. At the core of its membership are the world's most innovative operators of teleports, from independents to multinationals, niche service providers to global hybrid carriers.

WTA is dedicated to helping the operators of teleports maintain and expand their businesses by: Advocating for their Interests

In an industry undergoing fast changes in technology, operations and business models, WTA works with  members to identify the issues most critical to their success and advocates on their behalf. They provide a unified and respected voice when it comes to relationships with strategic partners in the sky and on the ground, and the evolution of technology and applications. Additionally, they educate partners and customers on the tremendous value that teleports bring to the global contribution and distribution chain for video, audio, data, and voice.
