Co-sponsored by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and Secure World Foundation (SWF), this lunch briefing is designed to raise awareness about space weather, highlight current efforts to characterize, understand and predict space weather events, and draw attention to the challenges of communicating the risk to the public, as well as the policy implications.
