The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG)... @ CommunicAsia2013 With... (Event—Sessions)

[SatNews] The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (iRG) will be hosting a series of interference-related breakfast sessions at CommunicAsia2013. At the sessions iRG will discuss current interference initiatives, both globally and in the Asia-Pacific region. It will also discuss recent technology advancements, such as Carrier ID and Geolocation, as well as providing insight into the next steps for the industry in mitigating satellite interference.

“We have made a number of important advancements over recent months, especially in technology improvements. I feel it is important now to help operators and users across the globe understand the initiatives and technology available to help them mitigate satellite interference,” said Martin Coleman, Executive Director, the Satellite Interference Reduction Group. “We are limiting these sessions to small groups to help facilitate discussion and to ensure that participants can get the most out of attending.

The breakfast sessions occur from 8:00 a.m. at Sky on 57 (Marina Bay Sands) over three consecutive days, Wednesday 19th June, Thursday 20th June, and Friday 21st June. Attendance is free and includes breakfast, however, seats are extremely limited—please register in advance via the iRG website (www.satirg.org).
