Board members are selected from 3 regions consisting of Northern, Central, and Southern California. Terms are for three years, but are staggered to ensure continuity between elections. There are a total of 27 voting members on the CSA Board, representing a broad cross section of California's space enterprise community including leaders from industry, academia, government, military and workforce/economic development. The six newly elected and re-elected members of the Board of Directors include:

- JAMES McGLOTHLIN, President/CEO, Quintron Systems, Inc., Santa Maria, CA
- STEPHEN O'NEILL, President, Boeing Satellite Systems International, Inc., Los Angeles, CA
- SUSAN SLOAN, Vice President of Mission Assurance, Space and Airborne Systems, Raytheon Company, El Segundo, CA
