Cobham Antennas Make Their Way To iBwave

[SatNews] Cobham Antenna Systems has just announced that a selection of the company’s extensive range of antennas for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) is now available on iBwave’s online components database.

Cobham has developed this range of antennas to extremely high specifications in order to provide excellent coverage and minimize costs to operators and installers. This is achieved by reducing the number of antennas needed to provide the required wireless coverage. For example where 20 regular antennas are specified, only ten Cobham antennas may be required. The range includes omnidirectional, bi-directional and directional antennas for use indoors and in large open areas.

Antennas are available for passive and active DAS systems and can be used in a variety of applications including wireless LAN, WiFi Hotspots, GSM, PMR and TETRA. Accurate and measured antenna performance data for Cobham’s directional and omni-directional DAS antennas is now available to iBwave users for in-building network design and planning.
