Ideal Industries... Cable Confidence (MILCOM—Networks)

[SatNews] The United States Navy has awarded a 5-year contract to IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. that will provide the Navy and other U.S. federal government agencies with contract pricing on the IDEAL LanTEK(r) II network cable certifier.

The Navy version of the LanTEK II, which includes the IDEAL Alien Crosstalk testing kit, is available to U.S. federal government agencies through NAVICPMART. Three commercial versions of the LanTEK II can be purchased by government agencies through GSA. The LanTEK II is deployed by technicians to certify that newly installed Ethernet cables meet international performance standards, as well as to conduct general troubleshooting of existing networks. Along with its unprecented testing accuracy, a key factor in the success of the LanTEK II is speed. The 1000 MHz LanTEK II delivers 11-second Cat 5e and 14-second Cat 6A tests with full performance data, along with10 Gigabit Alien Crosstalk testing that's more than four-times faster than competitive systems.
