Globecomm's IoT Group Taps An In-House Wireless Veteran

Anthony Sellers, Vice President, wireless and IoT Solutions

Globecomm has a new person to head up the company's Industrial IoT group. He is no stranger to Globecomm having been hired in 2013.

Globecomm is pleased to announce Anthony Sellers has been selected to lead Globecomm’s Industrial IoT group, reporting to Bryan McGuirk, Chief Commercial Officer. In his role as Vice President, wireless and IoT Solutions, Sellers will oversee Globecomm's strategy, products and services for the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) market. He will retain his current role as Vice President of Wireless Products.

Sellers has 23 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying wired and wireless telecommunication solutions for both commercial and government applications.  He joined Globecomm in 2013.

Before joining Globecomm, Sellers was the Vice President of Business Development at MTN Government Services of Leesburg, Virginia, where he oversaw business development, marketing and capture management.  Prior to MTN, he held executive roles at Honor Information Technology and TLC Solutions.

“Globecomm’s industrial, commercial and government customers have charged us with providing solutions for their most complex remote connectivity and critical infrastructure challenges,” McGuirk said. “Anthony’s expertise in the wireless realm makes him a natural fit as Globecomm continues its leadership role in the Industrial IoT space.”

Sellers is a veteran of the US Army and is a recipient of the Presidential Service Badge, a prestigious award earned by service members who serve in direct support of the President of the United States. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Post University.
