SatBroadcasting: Continental Does The Same satTV Thing...

Continental Airlines logo As has been the case for most U.S. discount airlines, Continental Airlines has decided to bring satTV to its passengers.

As Frontier, JetBlue, and Virgin America have already installed TV monitors in their airlines that retrieve real-time programming, Continental is now following suite and will charge $6 per person for such entertainment... in coach. First class folk will find the fun free. Over the next 12 months or so, Continental expects some 220 planes will be so fitted and will be able to offer 77 channels of broadcasting.
