Emerging Markets Communications (EMC)—Technology Panel @ APSAT 2014 (Event—SATCOM)


[SatNews] Global VSAT and terrestrial communications solutions provider Emerging Markets Communications (EMC) has announced that the company will be joining a panel discussion at Asosiasi Satelit, Indonesia's APSAT 2014, on June 12th, to discuss the impact of high throughput satellite solutions on cellular backhaul and the challenges and strategies to expand networks.

APSAT 2014 is ASSI's 13th consecutive international conference with a focus on satellite telecommunications and market opportunities and business trends within the industry, specifically in the Asia-Pacific region. ASSI is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote and encourage development within the satellite communications sector through international collaboration.

For the second consecutive year, EMC has accepted the invitation to participate as a sponsor and panel member at this event. EMC's Vice President of Asia-Pacific, James Alderdice, will be among the panel of speakers during session 5, beginning at 9:00 a.m. UTC on Thursday, June 12 and will discuss technologies that can assist with providing more cost-effective cellular backhaul. In addition, EMC will sponsor lunch on Thursday at 12:15 pm UTC.
