The announcement made at this year's World Satellite Business Conference reflects the company's revenue growth, profitability and strategic initiatives as selected by experts at Euroconsult, Satellite Finance and Space News.
"Spacecom's vision to become a multi-regional satellite operator drives our achievements," stated David Pollack, president and CEO of Spacecom. "We have established the AMOS brand in Europe and the Middle East, have brought AMOS to Africa with the AMOS-5, and soon to Asia and Russia with the impending 2013 launch of the AMOS-4. I am proud of our team's efforts and those of our industry partners that led to this award and promise that we will not rest with this award."
Pollack continued, "The AMOS brand's accomplishments are based upon the tremendous work ethic of our management, sales staff, technical staff, local partners, international partners and upon the superior solutions that we provide. We are also known for our nimble, reliable and service orientation that enables us to work closely with partners to take advantage of emerging business opportunities."
Recently, Spacecom announced the scheduled launch of its AMOS-6 communication satellite in 2015 to the 4 degrees West AMOS 'Hot-Spot' to serve Central and East Europe as well as expand services to West Europe. AMOS-6 will include Ku-band and multi-beam Ka pay-loads and has a 16 year expected life-span.
