High-Performance + Compact Coax Adapters Launched By KRYTAR

[Satnews] KRYTAR, Inc. announces the continued expansion of its growing line of microwave coaxial adapters with a new Within Series model offering application coverage over the frequency range of DC to 67.0 GHz.

KRYTAR designs and manufactures extremely rugged RF/Microwave coaxial adapters that find uses in a wide array of wireless communications applications, test equipment, and antenna devices for both commercial and military markets. Model 4030 is a compact, 1.85-mm, Within Series adapter design with a 50 Ohm impedance that enhances the KRYTAR family of superior performance products.

The Model 4030 adapter is a straight-body style constructed with 1.85-mm male gender (plug) and female gender (jack) connectors. This 50 Ohm adapter is manufactured to precise RF specifications and has a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1 (50-67 GHz). KRYTAR’s new adapter, Model 4030, offers superior performance ratings including low insertion loss of DC-7 GHz: 0.040*√f GHz; 7-67 GHz: 0.035*√f GHz; and RF Leakage of less than -100 dB. The compact adapter measures just 0.817 inches in length with a 5/16 hexagonal locking ring. KRYTAR coaxial adapters are typically available from stock to 30 days ARO.

Designed for extensive uses in military and aerospace applications, KRYTAR coaxial adapters are manufactured to MIL-STD-348 test-grade requirements ensuring stable phase-matched performance. Users of KRYTAR adapters will find exceptional operation in critical applications such as in measurement systems with vector network analyzers (VNAs) requiring phase and amplitude stability and repeatability. To provide ruggedness and versatility in the lab, or in the field, the RoHS-compliant adapter is constructed with passivated stainless-steel bodies and gold-played beryllium-copper (BeCu) contacts to minimize insertion loss and return loss in high-frequency applications.

KRYTAR also offers complete engineering services for custom designs that meet or exceed critical performance and/or packaging specifications. A data sheet with specifications and a package outline drawing is available via KRYTAR’s Web site.
