SeaMobile Enterprises has announced a major system upgrade of its customer web portal to provide customers with granularity and flexibility for measuring and monitoring VSAT bandwidth use.

The enhanced web portal is offered through the company’s MTN Satellite Services suite of products. It provides detailed bandwidth use graphs and reports that can be broken down by protocol, type of service such as Internet, corporate data, VoIP, or cellular, by individual IP address, or by application. SeaMobile customers in remote locations at sea or on land may now better understand their bandwidth usage. The service will become available to SeaMobile / MTN VSAT customers starting in April, of this year.
