MTN Government Services... These SINs Are Golden (SATCOM)

[SatNews] The Company's broad array of solutions is now open to government organizations...

MTN Government Services (MTNGS), a subsidiary of MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), has been added to the Future Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Services Acquisition (FCSA) contract under the new section of the General Services Administration's (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule 70 vehicle. This $5 billion, 10-year GSA and Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) joint-contract vehicle was developed to simplify the process of establishing U.S. government contracts with the commercial satellite industry. Through this new contract vehicle, government organizations have access to MTNGS' comprehensive range of communications solutions designed to meet the most intricate communications requirements. MTNGS delivers turnkey, end-to-end solutions, integrated technologies, Managed Satellite Services, and adaptable service alternatives. Services include solutions for legacy voice, VOIP, data, Internet and compressed video utilizing state-of-the-art VSAT technologies. FCSA consists of a comprehensive set of acquisition activities which are intended to replace expiring DISA and GSA contracts, including DSTS-G, Inmarsat, and SATCOM II. The FCSA program has created two new Schedule Items Numbers (SINs) under the GSA IT Schedule 70 Multiple Awards Schedule, both being offered by MTNGS. These two SINs, Transponded Capacity (132-54) and Subscription Services (132-55), are open to offers on a continual basis and provide specific satellite services which require no development or systems integration activities.
