MITEQ—Technology Presentations and Demos @ EMC 2014 (SATCOM—Components)

[SatNews] MITEQ is going to be exhibiting at EMC 2014, which runs from August 3rd through the 8th, in Raleigh, North Carolina—the company will be at booth #223.

On the list for "show and tell" are:

Table Top Amplifiers For Compliance Testing
MITEQ's TTA Series of high performance Broadband Low Noise Amplifiers were specifically developed for Electromagnetic [EMC] compliance testing. The latest addition to the TTA series is the company's new battery operated version, which allows for as many as 10 hours of continuous use on a single charge. This battery option can be purchased as a separate add on [TTABP] if you already own a TTA or supplied internal in a single enclosure at the time of the order as a TTAB. The TTA is enclosed in a small [5.1" L x 3.5" W x 1.9" H] case and the TTAB is in a slightly larger [6.5" L x 6.5" W x 2.0" H] case. This series of amplifiers covers both the Commercial/Medical and Military bands for emissions testing and comes with our standard three-year warranty. A universal wall plug in power supply is included with each TTA which operates from 50-60Hz / 100-240VAC. CE approved. The TTAB comes with a separate battery charger.

Low-Noise Block Downconverters—Model Series LNB-2640-40
These wide RF/IF bandwidth frequency converters, with fixed LO frequencies (block converters), are commonly
used to process millimeter signals with less expensive receivers below 18GHz. In some applications, the resulting
signals are upconverted back into the millimeter band. The LNB series, with its 4dB noise figure permits operation
at low input signal powers. In addition, the PM noise of the converter is minimized by a phase-locked and multi-
plied internal LO source. The block diagram shown to the left is a baseline configuration. Alternative configurations are also available.

Low-Noise Block Converter With Fiber Optic Link
MITEQ´s LNBF-2440-05 Low-Noise Block Converter offers a very wide instantaneous bandwidth of 16 GHz. The LNBF unit incorporates a fixed frequency 42 GHz Phase Locked Local Oscillator and Low Phase-Noise OCXO. Reference Oscillator to convert the full 24 to 40 GHz RF-band down to a 2 to 18 GHz IF-band. The unit also includes a 16 GHz instantaneous bandwidth fiber optic transmitter. The LNBF is packaged in a 5¨ x 5¨ ruggedized aluminum housing with an integrated heatsink. The SCMR-18G optical receiver unit is packaged in a miniature 0.8¨ x 0.7¨ housing. Standard optical connectors are FC/APC type.
