[SatNews]Reducing operator costs is always an important consideration when developing new communications systems.
At Heli-Expo 2011 in Orlando, Florida, Guardian Mobility will be revealing their new Guardian 7, an open platform, scalable aircraft communications system. The product's capabilities include free-form text messaging between air and ground, custom applications, automated aircraft sensor data transmitted in real-time and reliable aircraft tracking. The open-platform nature of the product facilitates easy integration of data communications with existing systems for more accurate logs, reduced time to invoice and improved crew duty time tracking.
Guardian Mobility provides end-to-end satellite communications and GPS flight following solutions for aircraft, with pricing specifically geared to the needs of aircraft operators. Guardian has developed a full range of products aimed at helping aircraft operators increase efficiencies, reduce costs and improve reporting. Guardian introduced the first portable GPS flight following device in 2004, delivering location and status information to aircraft operators. Since then, the Company has developed a device to facilitate two-way text messaging and automatic data communications between the aircraft and the ground. Guardian’s products are approved for Automatic Flight Following (AFF) and are used by fleet operators worldwide.
