[SatNews] A trio of new products have just been released by MITEQ
A series of 6-8, 12-18 and 8-18 GHz amplifiers have debuted from MITEQ Inc., covering 30 dBm to 34 dBm. The Model AMF-8B-08001800-40-33P delivers more than 33 dBm of power over full band of 8-18 GHz, with over 40 dB gain and ±2.5 dB flatness. Noise figure is less than 4 dB, port VSWR is less than 2:1, and it draws about 3A from a single +12 to +15V DC supply. The housing has a footprint of only 3” by 1.9” and 0.9” high with SMA connectors. Heatsink and other control features are also available as options.
Also from the Company is an ultra broadband high current Bias-Tee to its Bias-Tee family. Model BT2650-HC covers 100 MHz to 26.5 GHz with an insertion loss of ≤2.5 dB, input voltage of up to +15V and for a maximum of 1 amp current handling. It can be used in general-purpose test and measurement systems or OC768 transmitters and receivers. This model is available from stock.
MITEQ’s new Model SYS0216N01R-LNB millimeter-wave dual-channel block converter covers two bands over 18 to 40 GHz. One channel converts 18 to 26 GHz down to an 8 to 16 GHz output, and the second converts 26 to 40 GHz down to a 2 to 16 GHz output. This compact 2 ½” x 3” unit is shown above, and with optional local oscillators, this unit is now configured as a low noise block converter (LNB). The converter is ideal for broadband millimeter-wave receivers such as for EW/ECM/ELINT requirements or test equipment frequency extension. The unit employs LO multipliers to facilitate the use of lower frequency microwave LO’s. This model is designed for military environments.
