Monaco Yacht Show Is The Setting For MTN's Latest Media Suite

[Satnews] At the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, MTN—An EMC Company—will give an exclusive preview of the “Maestro Media” service offering.

This yacht industry first—a HD entertainment platform—can bring together core content sources anywhere in the world:

  • MTN-TV:  Live TV channels and special events available globally.
  • MTN Library:  Hundreds of on-demand movies and shows updated every month.
  • “My Channels”:  Worldwide private subscription streaming.

The company launched MTN Maestro in 2014 to simplify and improve onboard communications. The Maestro solution minimizes bandwidth consumption and optimizes performance.  Maestro Media will feature an enhanced user interface, and new capabilities to further streamline network management and boost content delivery.

The MTN team will be showing Maestro Media at its “PoP Lounge” at the Black Legend Restaurant during the Monaco Yacht Show.  MTN also will show Maestro Media at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) (booth #632, yachting tent) and at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) (booth #09.502).

MTN also announces three key service providers have successfully completed its Maestro Partner Certification Program.  All three certified partners have completed extensive classroom and field training on the installation, configuration and ongoing management of Maestro hardware and software.  They are Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH), serving the European region; Great Circle Systems (GCS), serving the U.S. and Caribbean markets; and Acutec Systems serving the Asia/Pacific region.
