SatBroadcasting: SATCOM Modems + More From IEC TELECOM


IEC TELECOM logo IEC TELECOM will exhibit at the SIEL SATIS Radio trade show, which will take place from October 20 to 22, 2009 at the Parc des Expositions - Porte de Versailles in Paris, at booth C-62. IEC TELECOM will showcase mobile satellite transmission modems, such as Inmarsat BGAN and Thuraya IP, as well as hardware and solutions from Quicklink and AETA Audio Systems aimed at broadcast professionals. IEC TELECOM is also expanding into professional audio and video encoding solutions. Thanks to a partnership with Quicklink, the Company will display the first autonomous portable video encoder working on the 3G network. IEC TELECOM has teamed with Bouygues Telecom to guarantee the largest upload bandwidth possible on the 3G+ network (HSUPA, upload bandwidth up to 1.4 Mbps).

The Company is now able to provide, on the French and European markets, with Quicklink, an international standard whose solutions have been approved by Inmarsat and validated in the field by major broadcast media players. Also debuting will be the latest audio codec from AETA Audio Systems, Scoopy+, which can also work on the 3G+ network and is a high-end codec/mixer and recording capabilities in high quality for pre-recorded broadcasts.
