[SatNews] SkyTrac Systems has signed a five year contract with Perimeter Aviation, a diversified airline company operating out of Manitoba, Canada.

Perimeter chose to partner with SkyTrac because of capabilities provided by the ISAT-200A, including Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), exceedance reporting, flight following and voice communications.

Perimeter Aviation operates 32 aircraft, on scheduled, charter and Medevac services throughout the province of Manitoba. The company serves many rural communities, and flight tracking and data monitoring are desirable for the safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance of their operations. They chose to equip an initial five aircraft with SkyTrac’s FDM solution, the ISAT-200A, along with signing a 5 year service contract. To further increase connectivity between ground and air crews, SkyTrac’s SkyWeb Mobile application was also included for tracking and communicating with the aircraft from ones pocket.
