Geolink Satellite Services + Telesat... Growing Demand Results In Renewal Agreement (Capacity)


[SatNews] Geolink Satellite Services, part of CETel Group, and Telesat, a global satellite operator, have signed a capacity renewal agreement to provide satellite connectivity across Africa and Europe. As part of its long-term partnership with Telesat, Geolink Satellite Services is extending part of its capacity commitment on Telesat’s powerful Telstar 11N satellite at 37.5 degrees West. The Ku-band capacity is required to expand Geolink Satellite Services’ VSAT networks and to serve growing demand from oil & gas customers in European and African markets.
