Momail has signed a deal with Taiwan Mobile that will find the latter using the former's mobile email platform for their Catch Mail offer. This will be the default email service for all Taiwan Mobile customers with a data rate plan. In phase two, the Momail platform will be used to include mobile communication with popular services such as Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Taiwan Mobile social network and other ISP’s services. Taiwan Mobile is the second largest operator in Taiwan with 7.5 million subscribers. The company was first to launch WCDMA 3G services. With Momails patented Mobile Message Optimization & Protection Engine (MMOPE) all emails, including attachments such as photos and documents, are optimized with up to 99.9 percent before reaching the mobile device.
