The Triumph Group (NYSE:TGI) Inc. has acquired unmanned aerial vehicle technologies developer Saygrove Defense and Aerospace Group Ltd.

Triumph Group, an aircraft-components maintenance company, announced the purchase of Wales-based Saygrove in a move to expand its capabilities in the UAV market. Triumph said Saygrove will now operate as Triumph Actuation & Motion Control Systems-U.K. Ltd. Saygrove is a developer of flight-actuation and motor-control systems used in electric aircraft and UAVs, among other technologies.
