ND SatCom... XWARP'ing Into BIT Award

[SatNews] ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, has received the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award 2010 in the Business Service Innovation category for its XWARP(r) solution, which provides IP applications / Cloud Computing over satellite.

Guests at the ceremony included chief executive officers, chief technology officers and other leaders from operators and vendors throughout the world, including Europe, China, Africa, India, Russia, North and South America, and the Pacific. XWARP® is a unique combination of satellite technology with Citrix delivery/virtualization technologies. It is a solution consisting of Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop in the data center, an advanced SkyWAN® satellite router converged with a Zero Latency Engine, additional security enhancements as well as latency and WAN optimization features.
