Teracue—Technology Showcase @ IBC2014 (Event—Of SatBroadcasting™ Interest)

[SatNews] Teracue eyevis GmbH, a manufacturer of IPTV and IP video solutions, has announced full interoperability of its professional streaming solutions for the eyevis eyeCON MetaWall 2.0 product line.

All Teracue live streaming sources—such as the flagship ENC-300 hardware encoder series for HDSDI (High Definition Serial Digital Interface), HDMI/DVI signals, the DMM Gateway series for DVB/ASI-to-IP conversion including remultiplexing, its IPTV headend and the MC-SCREEN desktop screen encoder—are now fully compatible to the eyevis MetaWall products. Pre-produced AV-files and recorded video content are streamed out by the new Teracue ICUE-PLAYOUT server, which supports multi-synchronous streaming output for SD, HD and 4K files.

Multiple live and recorded-playout streams can now be shown directly on eyevis’ IP-based EPU-LCD displays; either on single LCD displays (currently max 8 HD / 16 SD signals) or on a large video wall (one image over multiple displays), when combining numerous LCDs together as a MetaWall. Each eyevis EPU-LCD display with an integrated and fully internal eyeProcessing unit (EPU), performs its own IP-video stream processing and high-performance decoding. The eyeCON MetaWall 2.0 allows the creation of large, ‘unlimited’ IP-based video walls by grouping smart LCD displays together, whilst eliminating the need for large and central video wall controller units, reducing extensive DVI cabling and limited HDBaseT extension.

Teracue and eyevis will be presenting IPTV and IP-Video Systems and the eyeCON MetaWall 2.0 solutions at IBC 2014 on stand 9.B24.
