[SatNews] At IBC2010, Netgem announced it has now passed the 3 million set top box (STB) and middleware client milestone. Analyst firm Screen Digest has also ranked Netgem as Europe’s number one IPTV STB vendor and number three globally in terms of the number of STBs deployed during 2009. Confirming its lead for the current year, Netgem recently released positive first half financial results which reported profits rising by 34 percent and saw international sales multiply by a factor of nine compared to the same period last year.
