[SatNews] COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX: CDV) has been awarded contracts to provide switches and other microwave filters and components for the fifth satellite in a North American military communications program.

The total value of the contracts is in excess of US$7 million, and work is expected to be completed within the next 12 months at the Company’s facility in Cambridge, Ontario. “This is the fifth consecutive order for equipment that COM DEV has received from this customer, on this program,” said Michael Williams, president of COM DEV’s International Products Division. “We acknowledge the confidence placed in us by our customer on this program, and appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate that it is once again well placed.”
