Talia... Trunk Tales (SATCOM)


[SatNews] With the launch of Talia Trunk, an affordable, simple solution for large dedicated connections is now available to customers throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and South/Central Asia (Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka).

Using a simple, remotely administrated DVB-S2/SCPC connection, Talia Trunk provides affordable dedicated service from 128 Kb to transponder-sized connections. Talia Trunk is available on SES WORLDSKIES NSS-12 Ku-band for services throughout Central/South Asia (SA beam), East Africa (EA beam), and Europe and the Middle East (ME beam). It is also available on Telstar 11N Ku-band for Central, Southern, and West Africa. On C-band, Arabsat 5A provides services throughout Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Talia Trunk hardware is based on iDirect technology. To celebrate the launch of Talia Trunk, there will be no activation fees for trunking customers through the end of the year.
