[SatNews] MITEQ will be sharing some new additions.
MITEQ Inc. will introduce new additions at the MTT-S in Booth 1909 this June 7-9 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Beginning with Model AMF-2F-00100200-16-15P, to its family of extremely low noise and ultra small coaxial LNAs in the 0.1-2 GHz band. This LNA has over 30 dB of gain in a housing that is only 1.22” long and 0.88” wide without the field-replaceable SMA connectors. Gain flatness is a maximum of ±1 dB, though typical is ±0.75 dB. The AMF-2F-00100200-16-15P has a maximum noise figure of 1.6 dB in the full band, though the typical value is 1 dB. It operates from -40 to +75°C, has a P1dB of minimum 15 dBm, IP3 of typically 25 dBm, and a current draw of maximum 135 mA from a single +15V DC supply. Port VSWR is less than 2:1 for both input and output. Other models with typical gains ranging from 25 to 50 dB are available in the same outline. The aluminum alloy housing provides excellent thermal performance in addition to being very small and light. Hermetic sealing is an option.
Low Noise Ka-Band Amplifier
MITEQ’s new Model JS3-18002200-15-10P is a state of the art low noise Ka-band amplifier with only 1.5 dB maximum noise figure and 26 dB minimum gain in a small hermetically sealed Kovar chassis with field replaceable K-connectors. MIL-883 screening is also available. Different connector options are also available.
Compact, Ka-Band Gain Controlled Amplifier
MITEQ Inc. introduces a new addition, Model AMF-3F-20002600-68-20P-GC, to its family of rugged, single bias coaxial amplifiers. This amplifier has over 23 dB of gain from 20 GHz to 26 GHz, in a housing that is only 1” long and 0.83” wide without the field replaceable K-connectors. Application of +5V to the gain control pin decreases gain by 10 dB while maintaining flatness. Gain flatness is a maximum of ±1.5 dB, though typical is ±1 dB. The AMF-3F-20002600-68-20P-GC has a maximum noise figure of 6.8 dB in the full band, though the typical value is near 5 dB. It operates from -40 to +75°C of base temperature, has a P1dB of minimum of 20 dBm, IP3 of typically 25 dBm, and a current draw of maximum of 500 mA from a single +15V DC supply. At lower gain setting P1dB falls to +15 dBm. Port VSWR is less than 2:1 for both input and output. Composite metal body with a CuW base provides excellent thermal characteristics while the Kovar body allows for hermetic sealing if required. With its built-in sequencing, regulation and protection, only a single positive bias is required.
