[SatNews] ARINC Engineering Services, LLC, announced its Interoperability Test Engineering group at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, has expanded its range of activities and taken additional office space in nearby Sierra Vista. ARINC will formally open the new office on Wednesday, June 9, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The new location is at 500 East Fry Boulevard, Suite L-9, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
ARINC’s Advanced Systems Integration and Engineering Division has maintained an on-base presence at Fort Huachuca since 1992. Currently, ARINC is a subcontractor supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). ARINC’s performance on the JITC contract includes conducting interoperability certification testing and standards conformance testing for a broad range of military communications equipment. In nearly two decades at Fort Huachuca, the ARINC unit has acquired substantial skillsets in testing communication systems, ranging from tactical radios to IT networks installed onboard various air, ground and maritime platforms.
