Additionally, overseas markets such as the the CIS countries, the Middle East and Africa, where MT has worked successfully for a long time, are now opening new markets for AltegroSky Group. AltegroSky also acquires a second teleport in Moscow, in addition to the teleport, which is located at Bear Lake (Medvezhy Ozera). The important fact for AltegroSky customers and the positioning of the company group in the market is that MT has extensive experience in the use of the iDirect platform. This means AltegroSky clients will have a choice between Hughes Network System, ViaSat and iDirect equipment. This will also allow the offering of different solutions for fixed and for mobile VSAT on various vehicles. Due to the purchase of MT, AltegroSky Group gets access to the rapidly growing segment of the mobile satellite market.

The integration of MT and AltegroSky allows the combined company to maintain profitability in a challenging economic environment and to invest in the company's infrastructure, to obtain better contracts from the suppliers of equipment, and from the providers of satellite bandwidth. The union of the two engineering teams with many years of expertise in the satellite communications is also an important factor for improving AltegroSky's competitiveness. The expectation is that AltegroSky's revenue in 2014 will be about two billion rubles. According to preliminary estimates, the company's share of the SATCOM market will grow as much as 20 percent.
