SES WORLD SKIES... Collusions For Capacity...

SES WORLD SKIES, a division of SES S.A. (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), has signed a long-term, multi-transponder deal with Puerto Rico Telephone, a subsidiary of América Móvil, to deliver its CLARO TV premium DTH television offering to homes across Puerto Rico. As part of the deal, Puerto Rico Telephone is using five Ku-band transponders aboard SES WORLD SKIES' AMC-21 satellite to launch its CLARO TV offering. The new television offering, which features over 130 SD and HD channels in Spanish and English, is a powerful addition to Puerto Rico Telephone's broadband, wireless and landline phone services.

SES WORLD SKIES has also signed a major capacity agreement with Wananchi to deliver new DTH and IP services throughout East Africa. Wananchi, known for its popular Zuku brand of cable, broadband and IP phone services, has secured three full transponders (162 megahertz) on SES WORLD SKIES' new NSS-12 satellite to launch a powerful DTH lineup and VSAT-delivered, IP-based communications solutions. Set to launch in September, Wananchi's DTH platform is expected to offer as many as 80 channels over two transponders by year-end. The VSAT networks will enable everything from reliable high-speed internet access to Voice-Over-IP and videoconferencing.
