WTA has extended the nomination deadline for the 2010 Teleport Awards for Excellence until February 12.  The annual awards are presented to companies and individuals who have dramatically demonstrated excellence in the field of teleport operations, development and technology. 

The Teleport Awards for Excellence are presented on the opening day of the annual SATELLITE conference during a luncheon ceremony.  Awards are presented in five categories:

• Independent Teleport Operator of the Year
• Corporate Teleport Operator of the Year
• Teleport Executive of the Year
• Teleport Technology of the Year
• NEW  Green Teleport of the Year
