...host the nation's first satellite system. According to the Brazilian Space Agency, Brazil will become part of the Russian GLONASS positioning system. There are 24 satellites that provide navigation services worldwide with GLONASS. The university will be using the system for biomedical and aerospace research and this opportunity will also help the Russians attain a more efficient and viable navigation system.
