[SatNews] Haigh-Farr has announced its certification to the quality management standards of AS9100C. The certification was issued for the company’s design, manufacture and testing of antennas and support equipment, which are used primarily in the domestic and international aerospace industries.

AS9100C supplements the more general ISO 9001 manufacturing standard by offering additional quality management and reporting requirements unique to the aerospace industry. Originally conceived by major aerospace manufacturers and standards organizations, AS9100 represents a worldwide cooperative effort, under the International Aerospace Quality Group, to bring all aerospace production under one quality-management umbrella. The AS9100C certification was issued to Haigh-Farr in February, 2014.
