Moving On Up... Davison To Executive Director & Eddings To Executive Team At AQYR


A wholly-owned subsidiary of Windmill International, Inc., AQYR is a developer, designer, manufacturer and supporter of compact, auto-acquisition VSATs and accessory products for the commercial and military markets.

AQYR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Windmill International, Inc. AQYR develops, designs, manufactures, and supports compact, auto-acquisition Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) and accessory products for commercial and military markets.

The company has now promoted Jay Davison to Executive Director and Rory Eddings to the firm's Executive team. With a goal of expansion into new vertical markets and adding regional coverage of the firm's highly portable SATCOM terminals, these appointments position AQYR for rapid expansion into global commercial and government markets.

Mr. Davison will provide direction, overall guidance, and management to the AQYR team. He was recently responsible for directing AQYR’s Government Programs and his leadership spans engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, training, field service and the help desk. Mr. Davison has extensive telecommunications and technology experience acquired from the commercial and the military industries. Since 2006, Mr. Davison has been a core member of AQYR and is a named inventor on AQYR products. He has held technical roles at DTC Communications, Inc., iBasis Inc. and the US Military prior to joining AQYR. Mr. Davison is US Marine Corps veteran and graduated from the GMF SATCOM Technician Signal School and Marine Corps C&E Schools.

Mr. Eddings will provide the sales and marketing management of AQYR products and will be responsible for the global sales of the existing two-way products as well as leading the marketing and business development efforts at AQYR. A 35-year satellite communications veteran, Mr. Eddings career has included operations, technical, sales and business development roles. He has led sales and business development efforts focused on commercial, government and military roles with US and foreign entities.
Prior to joining AQYR, Mr. Eddings was responsible for business development with several satellite antenna and amplifier manufacturers. Mr. Eddings is a US Army veteran and graduated from various US Army satellite based courses in addition to serving as an instructor.
