Integral Will Integrate Products For ST-2 Satellite


Integral Systems homepage banner Integral Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISYS) will provide satellite ground systems for the ST-2 telecommunications satellite. Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (SingTel) and Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom Company Ltd. (Chunghwa Telecom) formed a joint venture to build the ST-2 satellite.

Under the agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, the manufacturer of the ST-2 satellite, Integral Systems will provide its EPOCH Integrated Product Suite (IPS) to manage two complete Satellite Control Centers (SCCs). In addition to the EPOCH IPS command and control and OASYS orbital analysis software, the agreement includes the provision of the baseband Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C) hardware. The primary control center will be located in Singapore, with a back-up SCC and remote payload control center installed in Taiwan. This is Integral Systems' second contract signing with Mitsubishi Electric in six months.

Additionally, Integral Systems, Inc. has announced that an order has been filed preliminarily approving voluntary dismissal of a shareholder derivative action. The lawsuit was filed on July 14, 2009, in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. The order included a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal of Derivative Action. The shareholder filing the complaint had previously submitted a demand letter to the Company's board of directors on February 23, 2009. The Company anticipates final resolution of this action in a reasonable period of time.
