The Simulsat-5b system was specifically designed to economically improve upon the longstanding full-arc, flexibility of multibeam antennas, the original Simulsat-5. Simulsat-5 transitions seamlessly to the improved Simulsat-5b which was designed from the ground up using the latest composite fabrication, computer simulation and solid modeling technologies.
