Through its active participation in the SATCOM 2010 exhibition and conference Johannesburg, South Africa, the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) has won the SATCOM Stars Award for best satellite communications service provider in 2010. The award was given by the show organizers, Terrapinn Company, during celebratory event that was attended by some of the leading satellite operators around the world.

Khaled bin Ahmed Balkhyour, the president & CEO of Arabsat, expressed his pleasure with the recognition, which crowns the efforts of Arabsat to expand its geographic coverage. The Company serves customers on the African continent and in other Arabsat coverage areas.
