ITT website Today ITT Corporation announces Daniel J. Hucko has joined ITT Space Systems Division as director of communications. He will be responsible for leading all public relations, marketing communications, employee communications, corporate philanthropy and community relations activities for the division.  ITT’s Space Systems Division, headquartered in Rochester, New York, provides innovative remote sensing and navigation solutions to customers in the Department of Defense, intelligence, space science and commercial aerospace to help them visualize and understand critical events happening on Earth, in the air, or in space in time to take effective action.

Prior to joining ITT, Hucko served as senior vice president, corporate communications and investor relations at Harris Interactive Inc., a leading online market research company based in Rochester, New York. While at Harris, he also managed The Harris Poll, one of the world’s best-known and longest-running public opinion polls.

“As we continue to expand our space business, Dan’s expertise and experience will prove to be an incredibly valued asset,” said Chris Young, president of ITT Space Systems Division. “We are excited to have him on our team.”

Hucko also worked for 11 years at Young & Rubicam advertising agency. He held progressively senior management positions advancing to senior vice president and managing director of the Rochester, New York office. Prior to working at Young & Rubicam, Hucko founded Stanton and Hucko — an integrated communications company that was purchased in 1989 by Young & Rubicam.
