Digital Vision, a supplier of picture enhancement systems for film and television post-production, has announced its support for RED Rocket, strengthening Digital Vision’s ongoing relationship with RED, which was cemented last year with support for the RED One camera. The latest addition to the famous RED digital cinema workflow, RED Rocket is a real-time 4K playback card. Digital Vision’s product portfolio and image knowledge base has allowed the company to become one of the earliest supporters of RED Rocket, which will significantly speed up RED based workflows and allow real-time high quality decode of native REDCODE files. This addition will allow facilities around the world to work on RED projects within the Nucoda product line at a fraction of the time that was possible in the past.
