Broadpoint has named Bryan Olivier as its chief operating officer. Bryan has more than 27 years of experience in management, engineering, and network operations at leading companies in the telecommunications and energy industries. Along with other initiatives, he will focus on expanding Broadpoint’s reliable, cost-effective wireless communication solutions, including its digital cellular infrastructure in the Gulf of Mexico. He most recently served as chief operating officer at CapRock Communications, Inc., and started his career with a nine year tenure at Tenneco Oil E&P, where he was responsible for maintaining domestic and international microwave and satellite systems. He has also served as chief technology officer of Clearwire, a national wireless broadband service provider, where he was responsible for overseeing operations, engineering and product development.
