FCC Certifies MiniGPS Tech From GTX

GTX Corp develops miniaturized Global Positioning Service (GPS) satellite tracking and location-transmitting technology devices for integration into branded licensee consumer products. The company’s Personal Location Services (PLS) platform consists of a matchbooksized, location-reporting module that uses GTX Corp’s “always-on” Assisted-GPS tracking capabilities. The Company's gpVector™ module, a groundbreaking GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking solution that offers a miniaturized product profile with exceptionally accurate and sensitive positioning awareness, has now been granted full certification by the FCC. Offering one of the smallest and lightest devices of its kind, GTX Corp. is developing a comprehensive service offering for prospective licensees, centered on the first of its custom 2-Way GPS hardware solutions. Attaining FCC certification for a non-cell phone product having wireless and GPS capabilities to be worn on or near the body is something of a rarity, as evidenced by the scarcity of such devices in the market place today. This certification will now set the stage for the rapid expansion of the GTX Corp GPS/PLS platform.
