Israel's antitrust court applied some specific conditions and Bezeq is now wishing to up its stake in YES from 49.8 percent to 58 percent, with final approval still up to the Supreme Court of the country after a hearing that will occur in June or July of this year. Having control of YES would allow Bezeq to offer a triple play package and directly tackle the competition, HOT, a cable operator. Opposed to the merger is 30 percent YES owner Eurocom.
