SkyWave Mobile Communications has supplied UK-based MarineTrack with DMR terminals for integration with their tracking and monitoring solutions. MarineTrack’s solution was recently used to safeguard participants in the 2008 Round Britain Powerboat Race, held in Portsmouth, UK, in June. MarineTrack’s satellite-based solution is powered by SkyWave’s integrated DMR-series terminals operating on the SkyWave IsatM2M network service. These ruggedized terminals are suitable for deployment in a wide range of asset security and management applications on land, at sea, or in the air.
